New nuclear – learning from Finland

Several countries, most recently the UK, have announced plans to build new nuclear plants. Some have heralded a new renaissance for atomic energy, while others say the pledges mean locking in expensive and inflexible power generation. Finland – the last country to bring a reactor online, albeit massively overbudget and delayed – could provide some advice for those planning new build.
