Living on a high wire - A French balancing act?

France is living on a high wire as it increasingly resorts to expensive methods to cope with midday solar peaks to balance its grid. Amid TSO warnings, the country will have to focus on boosting demand with nuclear not flexible enough to tackle oversupply.
